Join us in the Nation’s Capital for the biggest Amateur Radio outdoor operating event of the year!
The HacDC Amateur Radio Club will be operating an ARRL Field Day station on the grounds of the Armed Forces Retirement Home (AFRH) in Washington, DC. Event setup begins on Friday June 27, and we will start operating on Saturday June 28, at 2pm. The event continues for a full 24 hours of operating time until Sunday afternoon on June 29rd.

Same as last year, our club will be operating in the picnic area near the AFRH golf course in a northwestern portion of the grounds. We will be running several stations operating on multiple bands for the full duration of event. There will be food, beverages, station shelters, restrooms, 24-hour access, and participants are invited to stay overnight!

Directions
Same as last year, we will be setting up in the picnic area adjacent to the driving range and golf clubhouse in the northwestern portion of the AFRH grounds.

Participants must enter the AFRH grounds via the main gate (Eagle Gate) at the corner of Rock Creek Church Rd and Upshur St NW. The best street address for navigation apps is 140 Rock Creek Church Rd NW, Washington, DC 20011. After entering the gate, turn right and proceed straight to reach our Field Day area.
